Votes have been counted
The people have had their say
Everyone’s equal

Warm weather is back
After weeks of summer chill
This won’t last too long

I’ve stories to write
A lot of reasearch to do
It’s a busy week

Monster Haiku

Hidden in the dark
Craving blood but can’t emerge
Vampires hate the sun

Written for Grammar Ghoul Press Unlucky Thirteen number 1

For Poetry Day

Sway me with verse
With rhymes and words
With raw passion
With the strength of emotion

Use the almighty pen
Sealing thoughts in jet-black ink
Safe from memory’s vagrancies
Free to roam around the world

Use voice
Bring the words to life
Syllables in machine gun rapidity
Explosions of verbiage

Bring me poetry
Wondrous, magnificent poetry
Every which way you can
Show me what words can do

Talking heads shouting
Trying to let others go
Marry equally

My biased viewpoint
May not let me see your side
Same for you perhaps?

When I see her smile
Even from a far off screen
I just love her more

So much work to do
It could be worse however
I could have nothing

I’ve got me a new book

So you know.

Hi there! I’ve been busy over the long weekend, taking some of my favourite stories from here as well as a few other bits and bobs I have had wandering about into (Cue Drumroll!) my brand new book!

Drawn From the Aether

I’ve decided to go all fancy this time and it is a Hardback which should make it nice and durable.

For the time being you will be able to just get it here. But it should be available on Amazon and the like in the future.

Go ahead and buy it. You know you want to.
