Wow. This is so wonderful!
No. 1, I don’t know any scientists closely, & no. 2, I never thought they were of creative mind (please forgive my ignorance).
How terrific, how you’ve expanded your universe 🙂
I always read ABOUTs first because I love them… Now I’ll try your poem. Dublin, ah beautiful…

Thank you for following my blog! I’m very grateful for you and every single one of my followers that wants to read what I write!
I like that you use video of yourself for your pieces. That takes courage.
Hi Joe, just thought you might enjoy this little Irish short film that I found. Its really nice, I think. Its a little over eleven and a half minutes, so not too bad if you have the time. I think its set in Dublin, although I am not quite sure, the location is never exactly specified, although its definitely somewhere in Ireland. Just thought you might like it.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1095191/
That is a good film. Short and sweet. I think I know the school it was filmed in. A rather posh place really. You wouldn’t find kids speaking with that accent there! Thanks for the link.
You’re welcome. Glad you liked it.
While you’re here. You know the author who wrote the story they based this on, Roddy Doyle, wrote a great many novels and short stories based in Dublin. His most famous was the Barrystown trilogy all of which were made into movies. The Commitments, The snapper, and The Van. The snapper was my favourite as I ‘knew’ all of the people in the film. If you’ve never seen them check it out.
And the official website for the film:

Hey, I nominated you for an award. i hope you don’t mind.
http://geminisub.wordpress.com/2012/11/11/so-here-are-my-awards-to-you/
Hello! I’m so glad I happened to stumble upon your blog 🙂 I love your poems and can’t wait to read more!
Why thank you. A genuine pleasure!
You have YET AGAIN made the list! A most prestigious accomplishment, which should be marked with celebration, inebriation and certain bodily inflation and NOT salivation over the porcelain (telephone). Does porcelain rhyme with salivation? At a push, maybe. Anyway, I’ll leave the poetry up to you 😉

I am honoured. Is there a certificate or commemorative plate available to celebrate this occasion? If not, there should be!
Saw this, thought you might be interested. If not, feel free to ignore it:

i’m happy to have found you! did you find me through Thomas Sheridan? i will keep an eye out for new poems from you.
It was through trifecta. Thanks
ahhh, Thomas an artist out of Ireland. anyhow, see you around!
Just found his blog, another chemist-writer, just thought you might be interested. He is from Nigeria. Here is his gravatar profile and blog, maybe you want to take a look, I don’t know. Just thought I’d introduce you to another chemist-writer, at least you share that in common, both being chemists! Heh. 🙂

Thanks I’ll check it out
PS: You should announce the publication of your latest book on your blog, and advertise it permanently on your blog as an image widget in your footer using an image of the cover, which links to the purchasing website when people click on it. You should do that with your other book too. Get your work out there! I know, I know, I don’t do enough of that myself…Heh. 🙂 But really, get your stuff out there. You have talent, why don’t you submit a couple of poems somewhere?
I’ll set that up over the weekend! I just got my copies!
🙂
Books. Get ’em here, folks:

😉
Thanks Scriptor!
You’re welcome, Joe. You once did the same for me on my own blog here
http://scriptorwrites.wordpress.com/about/#comment-2789, and I haven’t forgotten that. So I thought I would do the same for you. 🙂 You’re a nice guy, Joe. 🙂
By the way did you get my e-mail?
If you want to email me an e-book copy of your book, that would be fine. Congrats on your new book, Joe. 🙂
I’ll try that! Hopefully that will work!
Joe this is an excellent Irish film, less than ten minutes long, its really good. Think you’ll like it. Its great. I just watched it and immediately thought of you, thought I’d share it here with you. Irish films are great. That makes two short Irish films I’ve found already that’ve been really good. Well, here it is, enjoy.
🙂
We have a bustling film industry here! Plenty going on. Thanks for the link, it was good!
If you like short films, you might like this one. Its not Irish, but its still good nonetheless. Its from Australia, and it was nominated for an Oscar, not that it really means anything though.

Wonderfully done. Thanks for the link scriptor.
TAG! You’re it! I’ve never participated in a blog award, so not sure of the appropriate protocol – but I’ve nominated you as ‘The Next Big Thing’, as I believe you should share more about your published poetry. You can find the questions on my site, if you’re interested in playing along! http://humantriumphant.wordpress.com/2013/01/28/ive-been-tagged-as-the-next-big-thing/ Either way, have a terrific day, Joe!
Thanks
your work is amazing!!! I can hardly ever write any funny stuff, so that makes me appreciate it all the more. I’m so going to sit and read it all! 😀
Good luck! There is a lot here.
Hey Joe…Incredibly, while looking at some other stuff, I happened to find…wait for it…wait for it…a song titled Joetwo!!! 😆 Can you believe it?! I wonder if there’s a song titled Scriptor Obscura? Somehow I doubt it…heh 🙂
But isn’t that incredible?! I just had to share it with you. Thought you’d wanna know 😉 Maybe it’ll be your new theme song? Nah, nah, I kid 😉
Here it is:
Its kind of long, but whatever. Enjoy. 🙂
For a dance track that is not long. I liked it! Not just for the catchy title!
Heh. 🙂
I am enjoying your poetry. My son-in-law is from Dublin.
Oh nice! Thanks a lot!
Hey Joe, just thought I’d share this other little Irish short film that I found some time ago:
That was a excellent film Scriptor. I’ve known some lads in that situation, though maybe not so young. I was trying to figure out where they had filmed it. But it said in the end that it was in Dundalk, to the north of Dublin. Thanks for the link.
You’re welcome Joe, I’m so glad you liked it. I’ve found a lot of really great Irish short films on YouTube lately. They’re very good, really well done.
Funny chemistry song for you:
Also a couple chemistry jokes I found:
Two chemists walk into a bar. The first one says “I think I’ll have some H2O.” The second says “I think I’ll have some H2O too,” – and he died.
A neutron walks into a bar and asks for a drink, and the barman says to it: “For you, no charge!”
🙂
I love Tom Lehrer. I asked them to play that song on the radio the day before my viva “In case I forgot anything” 🙂
Good jokes 🙂
Funny little chemistry video clip I found, might make you laugh:
Yeah! Atkinson is a genius!
I have been awarded … light!; and as I have unearthed some of your light I would like to pass it on. Tag. To see what it all means have a look at: http://mlewisredford.wordpress.com/2013/03/18/shine-on-award/, but, please, if you don’t want to carry the torch awhile, I will not be offended as long as you keep on shining anyway … beam

How come you never get writers’ block? How do you come up with all this stuff? I dunno how you do it.
Oh I do! I write haikus and limericks when I can’t think of anything better. They’re my creative back-up!
Chemistry joke for you:
If H2O is on the inside of a fire hydrant, what’s on the outside?
K9P.
Ha! 🙂
🙂 I heard it a long time ago in my high school chemistry class. The teacher had us write funny science limericks too.

Thanks, and stay awesome!
You write beautifully, Joe. I thought I was following you a long time ago and then kept wondering why I never saw anything from you in my Reader. Following now, with gratitude for the way you weave words 🙂
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
